In the first portion of this class, Dr. Haavik covers research looking at the cost-effectiveness of chiropractic care for neck and low back pain patients compared to conventional medical care. In the second portion of the class, she discusses research regarding the effects of chiropractic care on the brain. Dr. Haavik developed the Science Gems series to help chiropractors review research and communicate findings with patients.
